"May 8-1915 --- Dear Friend, I received your card and was glad to hear from you. We was to two weddings and had a fine at one and no good at another but we had a good time at both but we could not dance. There was a dance at Whittemore's yesterday but did not go. We intend to go to the next one that will be there. Maybe Haag's will give another dance for everyone invited, but I am not sure. We are all quite well and hope the same of you folks. Is Anna still mad at me for that introduction?"

The postcard is dated May 9, 1915 and was sent to Dennis Wagner of Irvington by Justina Weber (postmarked Whittemore)

I have a Dennis H. Wagner (1890-1956) who married a Katherine "Kate" Brass of
Irvington. He is a third cousin to me. Dennis had a sister, Anna Elizabeth
"Ann" Wagner who married Simon Peter Weber, Jr. and who I suspect is the
"Anna" mentioned in the card. I also suspect that Simon Weber is a relative
of the Justina Weber who wrote the message on the postcard. I think I talked
with a Weber researcher in Ventura about a Justina Weber once.
