A Memorial of an Indented Deed of Bargain and Sale bearing date on the fourteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and five and duly Executed Between Robert William Hillas of the City of Dublin Esquire Barrister at Law of the one Part and Mary Orme otherwise Stinson of Moyla in the County of Mayo Widow and eldest Daughter of William Stinson late of Arakill in the county of Sligo deceased George Joynt of (???field) in the County of Mayo Gentleman William Stinson of Ballina in the County of Mayo Gentleman Joynt Smyth of Ballina in the county of Mayo Gentleman and William Johnson of Moyla in the county of Mayo Gentleman of the second part and Robert Fawcett of Arakill in the County of Sligo Gentleman Son and Heir at Law of Thomas Fawcett late of (Lambfort) in the County of Mayo deceased of the other Part Reciting that Whereas by Indention of Lease bearing date on or about the eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Twenty one and made between Robert Hillas of Doonicoy in the County of Sligo Gentleman deceased of the one Part and William Stinson of Arakill in said county deceased of the other Part the said Robert Hillas demised and granted to the said William Stinson the half quarter of Arakill being (???)of the six Quarters and a half of the Lands of Doonicoy to Have and to hold the said Demised premises for and during the Natural life and Lives of George Hillas Son of the said Robert Hillas Mary Hillas Daughter of the said Robert Hillas and Robert Hillas Son of the said Robert Hillas and the Survivors and Survivor of them which said Lease contained a Covenant for the Perpetual Renewal and whereas the said William Stinson did serve the Execution of said Lease without any Male but bearing two Daughters who Survived him namely the said Mary Orme otherwise Stinson his eldest daughter and Margaret Rutledge otherwise Stinson his youngest Daughter and Whereas the said Mary Orme otherwise Stinson the eldest Daughter of the said William Stinson became entitled upon the death of the said William Stinson her father to a morety of said half Quarter of the Lands of Arakill and by virtue therein of and of a Portion duly made became based and possessed of that morety of the said Lands of Arakill lying in the East side an immediately adjoining that part of the Lands of Doonicoy (??) the upper and Lower twelve acres containing Twenty two Acres and a half to th same more or less also reciting that by an Indenture bearing date on or about the eleventh day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety three and executed between Robert Hillas of Doonicoy in the County of Sligo Esquire and Son and Heir at Law of Robert Hillas the Elder herein before mentioned of the One Part and Robert Rutledge of(Knockocullun?) in said county and said Mary Orme otherwise Stinson of the other part the said Robert Hillas did in consequence of the Covenant for perpetual renewal insist and add to the lease and term of said Indenture of the Eighteenth of August one thousand seven Hunded and twenty one and a renewal for the lives of his two Sons Robert Hillas and George Hillas Reciting that the said Mary Orme did by an article bearing date the twenty fourth of February one thousand seven Hundred and eighty eight for the Consideration therein mentioned promise and engage to make over to the said William Stinson and his Heirs forever the fourth half of any right she had to said Lands of Arakill and did by another Article bearing date and for the consideration therein mentioned did bargain and (??? ???) the said William
Johnson another fourth part of (??? ???) in said Lands and also by other Article bearing date as in said Deed is particularly mentioned and for the consideration in said Articles mentioned the said Mary did convey unto Joynt Smyth and George Joynt (????? ?????) and to their Heirs and assigns forever the remaining two Fourth parts of said Lands of Arakill and also reciting that the said Mary Orme otherwise Stinson and her Husband James Orme by his life (???)by Indenture bearing date as therein mentioned and for the Consideration therein mentioned did bargain and Sell the said Morety of the Lands of Arakill to the said Robert Fawcett and Thomas West of(Lambfort) in the County of Mayo deceased in Trust for the said Mary Orme which trust the said Robert Fawcett and Thomas West the Son and Heir in Law of the said Thomas West have acknowledged which said Indenture Witnessed that the said Mary Orme otherwise Stinson William Stinson George Joynt Joynt Smyth William Johnson Robert Fawcett and William West for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred Pounds Sterling to Them in Hand paid by the said Robert William Hillas have Granted Bargained Sold Allowed Abased Assigned and Confirmed unto the said Robert William Hillas his Heirs and Assigns forever all that and those that morety on one half of the Half Quarter of the Lands of Arakill herein before mentioned containing twenty two acres and one half of Land or thereabouts be the same more or less and ( ???ed) and ( ??) in said Deed of Bargain and Sale is particularly mentioned which said lands are situate lying and being in the Parish of Templeboy in the Barony of Tireragh and County of Sligo free and clear and Discharged from any debt whatsoever which said Deed (3 lines totally unreadable)...
