  • On the 7th day of September 1839 was buried Joseph Noel husband of Margaret Noel living one mile north of Davenport. He died of bilious fever, aged 30.

  • On the 15th day of October 1839 was buried Thomas Lindsey living 3 miles east of Davenport. He died of bilious fever, aged 49.

  • On the 25th day of October 1839 was buried Andrew Lindsey son of the preceding. He died of bilious fever, aged 20.

  • On the 9th of November 1839 was buried William B. Conway Secretary of Iowa territory who died in Burlington of the bilious fever, aged 41.

1840

  • On the 2nd day of January 1840 was buried Jane Beaugenow who died in Davenport aged 56. Her death was occasioned by a fall.
  • On the 18th of August 1840 was buried Mary Noel daughter of Joseph Noel deceased and of Margaret. She died of billious fever at the age of 5.
  • On the 22nd of November 1840 was buried Nathaniel Mitchell who died of billious fever on his farm one mile west of Davenport, aged 60.

1841

  • On the 4th of March 1841 was buried John Litch of Davenport who died of a fistula at the age of 60. He was baptised in his last sickness.

  • On the 7th of May 1841 was buried Thomas Cournoger of Davenport who died of an inflammation of the groin at the age of 38.

  • On the 1st of October 1841 was buried Julia Elder of Long Grove who died of the billious fever at the age of 35.

  • On the 10th of October 1841 was buried John Gayman son of Joseph and Elisabeth Gayman living 3 miles west of Davenport. He died of billious fever at the age of 10.

  • On the 14th of November 1841 was buried George Noel son of Joseph and Margaret Noel. He died of scarlet fever at the age of 12.

  • On the 18th day of November 1841 died Augustus Noel brother of the preceding. He died of scarlet fever at the age of 7.

  • Died on the 21st of November 1844 Mrs. Maguire mother of Mrs. Lindsey. Aged 81. She arrived from Pennsylvania a week before.

  • Died on the 25th of November Mrs. Brennan wife of Moses Brennan aged 61. He body was removed to St. Louis.

  • On the 18th day of August 1845 was buried Barbara Heinreich who died by being accidentally poisoned aged 32.

  • On the 25th day of August 1845 was buried a little girl Barbara daughter of the preceding aged 1 year.

  • On the 27th day of September 1845 was buried Julia Carroll daughter of Patrick and Julia Carroll of Davenport. She died of billious fever aged 3 years 6 months.

  • On the 30th of September 1845 was buried Louis Saverd born in Montreal Canada. He died in Rockingham of billious fever aged 61 years or about.

  • On the 1st day of October 1845 was buried Catherine Meinhart wife of Bernard Meinhart. She died of billious fever at the age of about 30 years.

  • On the 17th day of October 1845 was buried Barbara Wachter wife of Frans Wachter. She died of billious fever at the age of 38 years.

  • On the 23rd of November 1845 was buried Andrew Schulomeyer son of Peter and Marianna Schulomeyer aged 3 days.

  • On the 28th day of November 1845 was buried Catherine Wachter daughter of Franz and Barbara Wachter deceased aged 1 month and 16 days.

1846

  • On the 8th day of February 1846 was buried Catherine Brown who died of consumption at the age of 23. She was baptized a week before death.

  • On the 2nd day of April 1846 was buried Isabella Thorington daughter of the late John and Emma Thorington. She was baptized and received the other sacraments of the church a few weeks previous to her death. She died of inflammation of the brain aged 12 years.

  • On the 25th day of May 1846 was buried Mary Ann Margaret Wiverholt aged 35 years consort of Peter Wiverholt. She died of dropsy. She was born in the Canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

  • On the 5th day of June 1846 was buried Jacob Henry Bless aged 3 years son of Jacob Henry and Barbara Bless of Davenport.

  • On the 14th day of June 1846 was buried Catherine Maguire aged 12 years daughter of Patrick and Margaret Maguire of Davenport. She died of inflammation of the brain.

  • On the 18th day of June 1846 was buried Dorothea aged three months daughter of John Ernst and Anna Maria lately come from Prussia. The mother died in St. Louis.
