Michael J. Powers
 was one of those Irish settlers  living around the 3rd and 4th Street Irish families. Middle name is unknown except "J."

Born in Ireland 1833 according to the obituary but other research shows it as 1825.

His obituary was published 29 May 1896 in Davenport newspapers.
Robert is his 2nd great grandson.

N.W.B. Band

I think the attached photo has my grandfather, Frank T. 
Martens, in the middle, but I'm not certain.  If he's in the picture, 
that would date it around 1910-4.  I'm not sure what the N.W.B. Band 
was.  Any guesses or help appreciated.
